My wife and I have just returned from our Copper Canyon trip, which was a wonderful experience and far surpassed what we had anticipated. The itinerary and materials you provided were excellent (in fact, other tours we met along the way borrowed our materials to see what was going on). Your representatives were wonderful, courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable. We had the bass with garlic as you suggested and it was excellent. Finally, we were amazed by the railroad engineering. Spectacular is too mild a word (we have traveled extensively throughout Switzerland, Italy, etc.) Everyone we met who was traveling with your service was equally impressed!

We could not believe how much attention to detail was paid by your agents and your company, from being "hand carried" through the throngs of people at the train station to our seats, to finding our our reserved seats were on the best side of the train, and topping it off by being given the best rooms in the hotels. All of your agents watched carefully for us as we arrived, spoke relatively good English and shared stores, making the trip fun. They were great!!

The food and rooms were all anyone could ask. Mario was a wonderful guide. He took us to the Indian burial ground and to the rim of the canyon. Mario was very sensitive to the varying hiking abilities of the group and struck a happy medium for all of us. The friendliness of the people cannot be overstated.

Last year in October we took your tour of the Copper Canyon, and we liked it so well that my wife and I took it again this year. ( The fact that I am 81 and she is 78 seemed to astonish people that we met. ) We want you to know that you have four of the best tour guides or assistants possible - Jorge, who met us in EL Paso both years even remembered us; and Bacho, who took us on the tour in Chihuahua was an excellent narrator. In Cerocahui, Mario is the important person there. He served as an excellent host and guide both years. You could not have had a better guide in Alamos than you have in Stephanie. She is an enthusiastic, knowledgeable person, and was most solicitous about our interest and welfare.

Your choice of guides, hotels, places to stop-over, etc. were excellent. Your maps helpful hints, and general information were most informative, and added greatly to our understanding and enjoyment. In other words - we think your Canyon Travel is SUPER! And, all along everyone spoke so highly of you and your whole operation. We add our words of praise and say thank you, or better yet, "muchisimas gracias."

If this were to be a critical review of our recent trip it would have to be very short as Gloria and I had a very enjoyable and exciting 10 days in Mexico. I confess that I was reluctant to encourage many of our friends to go with us as although the brochures and materials looked great. I know nobody that had made this trip, and I wasn't interested in losing friends. First, I must comment on the materials that were given us by Canyon Travel before we left. They left little to be desired and we found ourselves much better prepared rewarding experience.

The Copper Canyon trip was a memorable one for a number of reasons: scenery, people, culture, and even the food. The accommodations you set up went very well. As some of your other clients have remarked, I was impressed with the level of preparation you put into your work. We met other tourists less prepared than we. I think also that your checking on the route regularly has some effect.

Thanks to your wonderful arrangements, I was able to have one of the most unique and enjoyable trips of my traveling experiences. The Copper Canyon is truly magnificent. The natives of this area are warm, kind and so very helpful. As a senior lady traveling alone, I was extremely apprehensive, however I soon realized I could have left all my worries at home. The guides who met me, and helped me depart at each destination were always prompt and a delight to meet.
